About
a
mile
up
the
Pupukea
Road
from
the
Hale
Maluhia
home
is
the
start
of
a
magnificent
network
of
trails
that
lead
up
into
the
mountains
running
along
the
North
Shore
coast.
These
broad,
open
trails
are
nearly
always
deserted...
very
few
seem
to
know
about
this
tropical
secret.
Alternately
winding
through
dense
tropical
growth,
then
opening
on
glorious
vistas
over
the
untouched
jungle,
these
trails
breathe
silence
and
the
voice
of
the
wind
into
the
soul
of
the
receptive
traveller...
